Mosquée Hassan II à Casablanca

La mosquée Hassan II n'est pas seulement un pari technologique, un défi à toutes les échelles connues jusqu'alors, à la résistance des matériaux, à l'équilibre des masses et des volumes. Elle a offert le plus vaste champ de création jamais donné au talent de milliers d'artisans marocains.
Cette décoration artisanale exécutée par des centaines de maâlems donne la réplique aux grandes pages de marbre, crée le contraste, brise toute monotonie, signe de la délicate main humaine la démesure de son projet, car c'est l'artisan, le maâlem, celui qui sait, détient seul le secret des rythmes et des couleurs que lui ont légué ses pairs, celui qui invoque la parole divine avant d'exécuter le premier tracé, c'est lui qui fait de toute Mosquée une oeuvre d'art, un lieu d'enchantement.
Subtil jeu d'ombres et de lumières, d'arêtes et de creux, frisés ou calligraphiés, niches, arcs, autant de formes qui font du plâtre fragile un matériau aussi noble que le marbre solide et qui posent au regard du visiteur l'énigme de l'éternelle interrogation de l'artiste.
Voici, dans toute sa grandeur, la nouvelle proue de Casablanca. Elle est déjà le point de repère, le lieu de tous les regards comme une présence gardienne, défi aux conventions séculaires. Ce n'est plus la colline qui porte le temple, mais la plage. et le temple lui-même devient rocher sacré posé sur l'étendue marine, promontoire rassurant et déjà familier au regard voisin, voici le minaret dans sa splendeur dorée. Il est à la fois fils de la Mosquée des Omeyyades à Damas, héritier de la Giralda de Seville, enfant de la Koutoubia de Marrakech et, plus encore, père d'une nouvelle architecture islamique marocaine.

Je te remercie pour ces photos et de nous faire découvrir les trésors du Maroc. Moi qui le suis et qui n'est partie qu'une fois (suite à des problèmes familliaux)... c'est la vie mais j'y retournerais Inchallah cet été !

Choukran chazilane rouya ! C'est juste que quelques cousins voulaient se marier avec moi et que j'en avais pas très envie à 18 ans... ni maintenant à 24 ans loool
